Gas Main Break Shuts Route 9

A gas main break closed a stretch of River Avenue/Route 9 early Tuesday, Oct. 22 in Lakewood.

The NJDOT site shows it happened around 3:35 a.m. at Yale Drive.

As of 7 a.m., all lanes were closed from Cross Street to James Street due to emergency construction.
